Boots haul

Hi Guys!

So Saturday I went into boots as I need to start taking care of my skin a lot better.
Sorry about the quality of the picture! The lighting where I live today has been poop so I had to use my flash *boo* Also please ignore the curtains I never got round to changing them and don't see the point changing them when I got to UNI in two weeks lol!

As you can see in the picture this wasn't a very big haul!

The first thing I picked up was the Nivea pure and natural cleansing toner, now I own a bottle of micellar cleanisng water but I needed a toner as well and I like Nivea products so I wanted to try this one.

My next product was also one from Nivea, this time I got the oil free moisturising day cream, I picked this one up as I have combination skin and I normally miss out moisturising my face after cleansing it, the do a night cream as well so if I get on well with the day cream I will defiantly be investing in the night cream.

Now as winter is starting to creep in, it takes a toll on my hands as they go ever so dry, I know how well Vaseline works on my chapped lips in the winter so I decided to pick up this hand cream and to be honest I was drawn to this by the pink packaging but this smells divine.

Now the original reason why I went into Boots was to get the one and only tangle teezer. Ever since I have started dying my hair it has started to become extremely knotted and tangled after washing so I made a point to purchasing this little beauty after hearing so many good things about it.

The next thing I brought was the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash. Maybe I was drawn to this because it was pink....ok I put my hands up I did but it smells divine and I have heard good reviews about this so I did actually wanted to try this out.

The last thing I got was the Neutrogena Visibly Clear blackhead eliminating daily scrub. Now I have terrible problems with blackheads so hopefully this will help.

Once I have used these products I will be doing reviews on all of them so keep an eye out for them!

Prices:
Nivea Pure and Natural Cleansing Toner: £3.36
Nivea Oil Free Moisturising Day Cream: £3.99
Vaseline Healthy Hands and Stronger Nails: I think this was about £3
Tangle Teezer: £10.99
Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash and Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub: All Neutrogena products were on 2 for £5.

 Until Next Time!!

Day out in Buxton

Hi guys

So sunday me and my boyfriend went to Buxton as we had tickets to Buxton raceway to see the car races but as that didn't start till 1pm so we decided to go to Poole's cavern!

Poole's cavern has history behind it, dating back to I think the roman ages maybe ever before that. It was a good tour to say it was only an hour long.
The water over time had cut the rocks out!

Unfortunately you can't see the true beauty in this picture! This is a large amount of calcite that is found in the cave! When stood next to it, it sparkled so much it was amazing!

After we went to the cavern we took up to soloman's temple, which happened to be up a hill but once we got to the top the hills was phenomenal.

Once we had been there we went to Buxton race track which was just amazing!

There's just something about the smell of fuel and rubber burning on the track, the sound of the cars wizzing round the track  sounding like a swarm of angry bees and the rubber hitting your face!

So overall the day was amazing and it was nice to get away from nottingham for the day and just chill with my boyfriend and not have to do anything but have fun!

Until next time!

Mua haul and review

Hi Guys

Today I bring you a MUA haul and review!
At the beginning of August I went into superdrug and brought the MUA Matte Perfect Foundation and the Matte Perfect Loose Powder. The foundation claims to last all day and has shine control for about 8 hours. After using it for a couple of days I noticed that it didn't cover any of my blemishes and as I have spot prone skin I needed something that was light and gave me some sort of coverage. So this then encouraged me to go back to superdrug the day before I went to wales and I brought the MUA Pro-Base Primer and Hide and Conceal. I tried these all of these product out together on holiday and I can honestly say I LOVE these products.

I got the foundation in the shade Fair which is the lightest shade that they do in this product, But I found that if I don't blend it in properly I will get slightly orange lines around my face, which normally happened around mt ears so at least when my hair is down it can be hidden. I also got the concealer in fair as well but even though it says it is the same shade as the foundation it is lighter than it. The Loose Powder is translucent but when applying this with a brush there is a lot of product fall out so I have got it on my clothes at times but it does brush off.
The primer is just amazing and without this I found that the foundation doesn't last all day. But the primer helps dramatically. However if the weather is really warm and you are wearing this foundation then I would recommend taking the loose powder with you as in really warm weather you do get some shine on your face.

Other than this I LOVE these products and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a light foundation.

Foundation: £2
Loose Powder: £2.50
Primer: £4
Concealer: £1

Until Next Time

August Favourites

Hey Guys

Today I bring you my first favourites post!

In my favourites this month is:

Micellar Cleansing Water; this stuff is just amazing! I only got it in the middle of august abut honestly I don't think I can go back to using my face wipes to take off my make up. I have no idea how this magic bottle of water works but honestly I do not mind due to the fact that it really works.

MUA Matte Perfect Foundation and Loose Powder; I was looking for a light coverage foundation as I currently use No7  that I only wear on a night out as it is a full coverage foundation but I cannot afford this every month as it is £15 a bottle however the MUA matte perfect foundation is perfect as it provides the light coverage I wanted and it only cost me £2, and the loose powder is so cute and cost me £2.50. I will be doing a full review of these on my blog soon.

MUA Pro-base Primer; I have combination skin and I have found that if I do not use a primer with the MUA foundation, half way through the day it slides off my face but with the primer my makeup lasts all day. This only cost me £4.

Barry M Nail varnish: I currently own 5 shades of nail varnish in the gelly hi-shine range, I love the colours but some of them I haven't got round to trying two of the colours. Again I will be posting a full review on them on my blog.

Minnie Mouse Make Up Bag; This I only got when I went into the town the other week with my best friend. I was looking for a makeup bag as my original one was getting too small. As soon as I saw this bag I was in love with it and had to get it! It cost £3/4 from primark.
